Goldendale Main St Clean Up

Saturday, September 13, 2025 (9:30 AM - 3:00 PM) (PDT)

Description

Join us on Saturday, September 13, 2025, for a day of community pride and beautification as part of the Annual Stake Day of Service hosted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This year’s effort is supported by Washington Gorge Action Programs, The City of Goldendale, and The Greater Goldendale Area Chamber of Commerce.

Where to Meet:

  • 9:30 AM – LDS Church in Goldendale
  • 10:00 AM – Main Street at the Four Corners Murals

This community clean-up is one of several service projects happening across Goldendale that day. Our focus project will be removing and replacing the aging, damaged, or neglected planters along Main Street. Many of these planters have been hit by vehicles, fallen into disrepair, or are no longer maintained.

Project Highlights:

  • Planter Removal: Volunteers will remove deteriorating planters on September 13.
  • New Planters: Thanks to a generous donation from Maryhill Winery, new wine barrel planters will be installed by June 2026.
  • How to Get New Planters: Businesses can request a replacement by calling the Chamber or filling out the online request form HERE. One replacement is guaranteed, with extras available as supplies allow.

Other Service Projects Happening the Same Day:

  • Installing the dome at the community pool and weeding/cleaning the pool area
  • Gravestone digitization
  • Clean-up at WAGAP properties

How to Get Involved:
We welcome all helping hands! To volunteer, contact the Chamber or fill out the online volunteer form HERE so coordinators can keep you updated.

Let’s come together to give Goldendale a fresh, welcoming look while building connections in our community!
