Description

Klickitat County Search and Rescue is hosting our Basic SAR Skills Academy from January 16th, 2024 through approximately April 21, 2024 (Weather or missions may impact our schedule). This course provides an overview of Specialty Teams such as K9, Technical Rope Rescue, Swiftwater Rescue, and Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) but these specific skills are taught in later offerings should you choose to continue and further your skillset. First-Aid skills such as Wilderness First-Aid and Wilderness First Responder Certifications are also outside the scope of this Basic Skills Course. 

Books are limited so PLEASE RSVP to Rescue@KlickitatSAR.org. This will help us know if we need to order more books, etc. We can loan you a book or you can purchase one for our cost which we hope to be able to keep below $40.
