About
The Goldendale United Methodist Church, established in 1870, holds the distinction of being the oldest continuous church in Klickitat County. Originally founded by Rev. Gustavus Hines, a missionary to the Northwest, the church has weathered fires and wars, rebuilding and serving the community. Today, it remains a hub of service, hosting community meals, supporting missions, and providing educational opportunities. Notably, the church’s stained glass windows, designed by member Connie Pond, depict local scenes. Recently, the Big River Youth Council, a Native youth group, found a home here, exemplifying the church’s commitment to positive impact.
**Community Meals - free, hot meal for all on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at 5:30pm and the 2nd & 4th Mondays of each month
