About

The Goldendale Farmers' Market is a non-profit community association that was founded with the purpose of bringing farm fresh, locally grown produce to the members of our community. This market is a hub for promoting healthy food choices, enhancing economic development within the local community, and supporting the formation of cottage industries. By assisting our local growers in marketing their products and supporting local businesses, the Goldendale Farmers Market has become an integral part of our community.

This year, the Goldendale Farmers' Market will kick off at The Goldendale Home & Garden Show (May 3rd-5th). Every Saturday after that, starting from 9 am to 2 pm, their members will set up at The Goldendale Chamber located at 903 E. Main Street in Goldendale, WA. The market will run through September 28th, 2024. This is a great opportunity for members of our community to not only support local businesses but also to purchase fresh produce directly from the source.

The market boasts a variety of vendors ranging from food to art and crafts. This not only adds to the diversity of products available but also provides an avenue for local artists and crafters to showcase their talents. By creating a platform for these cottage industries, the Goldendale Farmers Market is promoting entrepreneurship and economic growth within our community.

The main objectives of the Goldendale Farmers' Market is to promote healthy food choices. In a world where processed and fast foods dominate our diets, it is important to have access to fresh and locally-grown produce. By purchasing directly from local growers, members of our community can be assured that they are getting the freshest and healthiest products available. This not only benefits individual health but also contributes to a more sustainable food system.

By promoting healthy food choices, the Goldendale Farmers' Market also plays a crucial role in enhancing economic development within our community. By supporting local growers and businesses, the market helps to keep money within our community and boost economic growth. This is especially important in smaller communities like Goldendale, where every purchase makes a significant impact.

The market also supports the formation of cottage industries. By providing a platform for local artists and crafters, the market is helping to create opportunities for individuals to turn their hobbies into businesses. This not only adds to the diversity of products available at the market but also contributes to the overall economic growth of our community.

The Goldendale Farmers' Market is more than just a place to buy fresh produce and support local businesses. It also serves as a gathering place for members of our community. It provides an opportunity for people to come together, socialize, and support each other. This sense of community is what makes the market so special and sets it apart from traditional grocery shopping experiences.

At the end of the market season, the Goldendale Farmers' Market gears up for their winter event – The Holiday Bazaar. This event brings together over 60 vendors, offering a wide variety of products perfect for holiday gifts. This is a great opportunity to shop locally and support our community during the holiday season.

Come out every Saturday and support your local growers and businesses while enjoying a fun and vibrant atmosphere at The Goldendale Farmers' Market. See you there!
